Awesome rescue of a drowning leopard in West Central India

Awesome Leopard rescue in India

A few months ago, the 31st of July 2016 a magnificent rescue took place in a village called Pimpalgaon Siddhanath, close to the west coast of India, 150km (93 miles) driving from Mumbai.

A leopard was found in a giant well in an inconceivably tough situation. Wildlife SOS India and helpful villagers started their life saving operation.

“The terrified leopard was on the verge of drowning and was desperately clinging onto a rope to stay afloat,” SOS group writes in a statement.

In this short movie clip we are able to witness the outcome of the successful operation.
